Tollbooth was the kid you could always find playing in the dirt with his construction equipment toys. When he grew up he did the same thing except he had bigger toys. He joined the army to further his education with a degree in construction engineering. His experience coupled with his education led him to the G.I. Joe team in the team's early years. He retired from active duty when the team was disbanded in 1994. When Joe Colton was assigned to lead The Adventure Team, he called up the only man he knew could get them around the world and through anything. Tollbooth gladly accepted the position and now helps The Adventure Team get to their next destination, no matter what stands in their way.
